Awards

Following the keynote at the banquet– Victoria Interrante will announce the 2017 Best Dissertation Awards and Henry Fuchs will announce the VGTC Technical Achievement and the VGTC Career Awards.

Although the awardees themselves have been informed, such that they can prepare a brief description of their accomplishments, we are on purpose not telling the attendees because the surprise of celebrating your fellow colleagues is worth it! We know from experience. We want there to be a buzz about who receives this award, because so many talented and amazing researchers among our attendees have received these awards and so many more have and should be nominated in the coming years. Ask the TVCG awardee once she/he is announced- her/his response was, “I can think of many others that deserve this award!”.

Please help to continue to improve and engage in our award process, by nominating PhD students and accomplished VR scientists. The process for doing so, can be found below.
