IEEE VR 2022: the 29th IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces

Do you miss your VR colleagues? Would you be interested in attending a satellite IEEE VR 2022 at Davidson College (near Charlotte, NC)? IEEE VR 2022 attendees (registration required) will watch the presentations and keynote talks as a group. Additionally, we will be able to network, socialize, and maybe even have an outdoor sing-along. This is currently a simple, small event with coffee breaks, and one box lunch supported by Davidson College. Attendance is currently limited to 50 participants. Davidson College enforces a mask and vaccination mandate. Attendees must be vaccinated and agree to wear masks in campus buildings.
Presenters will be given a private room where they will be able to remove their mask during their presentations.

We have a block of rooms reserved at Homewood Suites:
- King Studio with Queen sleeper sofa: $132 per night
- King Suite with Queen sleeper sofa: $137 per night
Every room is a suite with a kitchen and living room. A hot breakfast is included and served each morning. The hotel has an indoor pool and fitness center. The hotel is located one mile from campus. If the budget is available, a shuttle to and from the hotel will be available twice a day. However, attendees may need to find their own transportation to campus.

Please being your own refillable water bottle and a few lanyards from a previous conference to reuse. Extra lanyards will be given to students who may be attending their first conference.
